Jenn Chia

Tonight, TTON’s string of YouTube guest isn’t going to run out yet as we have another Tuber up in the studio. She started posting covers and now she is been catapulted to be an 8TV Quickie host, she’s none other than, Jenn Chia!

Born and raised in KL, with studies in Communication and Psychology from SEGi, Jenn knows a thing or two when it comes to people. She began her Youtube career in 2009 by posting music covers and a few of her own originals as time progressed. She’d also done a few skits with one of her fan favourites being ‘Life As A Malaysian Musician’.

It wasn’t long before, she was noticed for her video, ‘That Crazy Bra Lady’ where Jenn did a spontaneous video about her opinions on bras. Due the nature of the video, Jenn says it is her favourite video thanks to the immediate writing and to some degree, her educating some of her viewers!

As she gained traction in the Youtube scene, she began to produce commercial and YouTube content for Nestle, Domino’s, Hotlink, Atria and Shu Uemura. Quickly moving on to 2015 and by the month of July, Jenn was chosen to be the latest addition of the 8TV Quickie host line up alongside with our previous guest Mark O’Dea.

As a musician, she has opened for international Youtube musicians during their Malaysian tours like David Choi and Jayesslee. What most don’t know is that Jenn is the vocalist and synth for local indie rock band, KillKissMary. They recently released their debut album, Labyrinth just a month ago!

For the record, Jenn Chia scored _!
