Whistleblowing, But Only Under Right Conditions

In November, the Sessions Court found Pandan MP Rafizi Ramli guilty of two charges of possessing and publicly disclosing the contents of the Auditor General’s report on 1MDB, which is classified under the Official Secrets Act.

Rafizi’s conviction under the Official Secrets Act has renewed calls for the law's repeal. BFM explores what the OSA entails, and the protection afforded under the Whistleblower Protection Act 2010.
