Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri announced that Government Linked Companies (GLCs) and Government Linked Investment Companies (GLICs) should appoint a representative from the MTUC to their board of directors, in a bid to enhance transparency and ensure workers' interests are protected. We get reactions on this move from Lya Rahman of the Institutional Investors Council Malaysia.
