After almost a week of political upheaval, the Istana Negara confirmed today that Bersatu President, Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin, will be sworn in as the eighth Prime Minister of Malaysia on 1st March 2020. MCA vice-president Ti Lian Ker weighs in on where the new Perikatan Nasional coalition leaves MCA, as well as how the party sees the new government being able to take care of the interests of the Chinese community.
