Weeks of political upheaval has resulted in Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin being sworn in as the eighth Prime Minister. A political scientist who has done extensive research on Islamic politics and social movements, Dr Azmil Tayeb, from Universiti Sains Malaysia shares his thoughts on the significance of PAS being a part of the federal government. He also examines their agenda, role in state governance, as well as priorities in the new administration.
