Unpacking Malaysian Cinema is an 8-part series that discusses relevant issues facing Malaysian film industry as told by filmmakers drawing on archival recordings and new interviews.

We spoke to a number of filmmakers and producers about their experiences in film production particularly in the process of looking for fundings. In this episode we unpack some of the assumptions about film production, production finance, and the role of producer.
