Billboard are expanding its chart offerings by introducing Top Songwriters and Top Producers rankings, based on the weekly activity on the Billboard Hot 100. While the move to give producers and songwriters recognition is seen as the right step, do people actually care enough about charts these days, when their music listening habits are highly reliant on algorithms, and personal preferences?
