Meeting Nirvana

Nirvana's seminal album, Nevermind celebrated its 30th anniversary at the end of last month, and while a lot has been said regarding the album's impact to the music scene retrospectively, how was it like to experience that moment in history in real time and speak to the band as they slowly rose in popularity? That was what Sujesh Pavithran experienced as he managed to be the only Malaysian who spoke to Nirvana when the band was in the region, just months after the release of Nevermind. He joins us on the show to share his experience speaking to the late Kurt Cobain, Krist Novoselic, and Dave Grohl in Singapore.
