Susan Lankester

Tonight, we had one of Malaysia’s well beloved actresses, Susan Lankester! Known for her roles in the hit 1983 movie, Mekanik and also the 1989 cult classic series, 2+1.

Throughout the years, Susan has been adored by many for her quirky roles, in and around the movie world. A notable role was in the movie 1993 Feminia, where she played as a head editor of a woman’s magazine, leading her to win the Best Supporting Actress at the 1994 Malaysian Film Festival.

She still dips her toes in the industry with her most recent project in 2014 titled, ‘Take Me To Dinner’. Directed by Gavin Yap and starring actors like Patrick Teoh, Susan plays as Patrick’s target of assassination turned lover.

When not in the front of the camera, Susan is the founder and director of Catwoman Productions, a theatre production company. Having a love for DIY projects, Susan has created her own house renovation company, Lankester Designs.

“Acting is my passion but so is my renovation work.” said Susan via a Star interview.

For the record, Susan scored 7!
