Jun Yong

TV Host for Astro Supersport, former radio announcer and crowned Miss Malaysia Tourism 2012/2013. Her name’s Jun Yong!

 

Hailing from Penang, Jun had always been a competitive soul. Winning school-level public speaking and singing competitions, joining the National Youth Choir by 12 and finishing secondary as the valedictorian for Subang Utama in 2009; Jun has a list of accomplishments which shine her talents.

 

In 2010, she took an American Degree Programme at INTI which also took her to Beijing for a two week language teaching course from the Beijing Language and Culture University. Jun’s a certified teacher to teach chinese to speakers of foreign language. 2013 came along with Jun entering and winning 8TV’s host search alongside Nadia Nash and Brandon Ho.

 

She also did a short stint in Hitz.fm as a radio announcer. Currently, Jun’s working for both Astro Supersports’ and StarHub’s football shows. Over on the Astro side, Jun does the MYEG Daily Show on Thursdays and the Friday weekly, Football Countdown.

 

For the record, Jun Yong scored 18!
