Iedil Putra

Tonight we had a man whose education credentials would fool you into believing he’s a doctor in training. Iedil Putra is an award winning actor, director and the occasional writer from Playground Productions.

Iedil started his dive into the performing arts in 1994, as a pioneer member of the children's theatre production,Tunas Budaya.

As Iedil grew, his list of credits followed, and one of his notable acting roles was in an Instant Café Theatre production called Parah. It was performed all over Malaysia, Singapore and Australia. He was also an ensemble member of the well-loved award-winning comedy sketch group, Projek Disko Baldi.

He tried his hand at directing in 2010 and received a Best Director Award during the Short & Sweet Festival. In the middle of last year, Iedil starred in the popular local production film Terbaik Dari Langit.

You can catch Iedil in his new web-series by Milo called ‘Finding Sandra’ on Youtube.

For the record, Iedil scored 21!
