Tonight, we had chat with the editor of MASSES, Bryan ‘Botak’ Chin! Aside from being the editor, he’s also the co-founder for Heartbeat Drumsticks Malaysia. A company which sells and manufactures high quality industry standard drumsticks (not the chicken sort).

Bryan is known for a thing or two when it comes to streetwear, with an emphasis towards shoes. So when the opportunity to be editor of MASSES, a magazine which focuses on local streetwear lifestyle, he just had to take it. With two years passed since it’s initial start, Bryan’s editorial work is now a voice in the Malaysian style scene.


A man who graciously points out that he weighs 87kgs on the weekdays, while on the weekends it’s 90kgs. When weight isn’t under such scrutiny, he is also a drummer for a post-hardcore band called Azure For Jane (A4J). He told us that their debut album is in the works so we can’t wait for that!
