Flower Of Scotland Wilts

The Scots huffed and puffed, but a last minute swing of the foot from Hungarian Kevin Csoboth was enough to send Scotland packing from the Euros' Championship. Not without controversy, Scotland had a huge penalty shout waved away when Stuart Armstrong was taken out in the box, which left Steve Clarke fuming on the touchline & in the tunnel. However, their tournament stats are damning - managing to secure only one point, with no shots on target in three out of the six halves played, scoring just two goals. One of which was an unusual own goal. Maybe next time.

Elsewhere, Portugal put three in the Turkish net as Os Navegadores look to secure the top spot in Group F with one game remaining v Czechia. Speaking of the Czechs, a Patrik Schick goal cancelled out Georgian Georges Mikautadze's first-half penalty in what was an end-to-end affair in Hamburg. We review all that and more on this Euros edition of JFK.
