2014 - The Media Retrospect

This year the Malaysian media took a blow when Malaysiakini journalist Susan Loone became the first among the media to be investigated under the Sedition Act. Prime Minister Najib Razak's decision to retain the act increased pressure on the media, posing challenges to reporting both factually and objectively. We speak to editors, journalists and observers about this challenge and audit the year that was.

This is a report by Annabelle Lee and Aziff Azuddin.
