Raising Awareness; Building Independence

For people with autism, the working world can be cutthroat, as they’re expected to conform to an unforgiving work environment and not the other way around. This week we speak to Mohd Adli Yahya, founder of the Autism Cafe Project, who started the cafe to help autistic youth develop work skills and independence. Motivated by his son Luqman, who suffers from autism, Adli hopes to raise awareness amongst the public about the lives of autistic individuals and to help them better adjust to wider society.
