As we get closer to Raya, the city gets busier with people doing their last minute shopping. Here in KL, one of the more famous destinations for Raya shopping is Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman. The place has it all: textile merchants, old-but-gold shopping complexes and shops of various nature. But has it always been traditionally known as the commercial area? On this episode of I Love KL, we trace the history of Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman, back to the time it was called Batu Road, and visited by the more affluent community of KL.
