I Love KL: 15 Days of Red

Our chinese tradition today is result of the passing down of customs with generations worth of culture & practises. Today Malaysian-Chinese make up 24.6% of Malaysia. But just how much do we actually know of our chinese-cultural roots? In this modern age, this rich tradition seems to diminish with each year that passes by. With Chinese New Year around the corner, we spoke to Ooi Siew Looi who has a wealth of knowledge on our chinese traditions - she joins us as she passionately enlightens us on the 15-days of the Chinese New Year celebrations, explaining the history and origins of our rich culture and more specifically, on why we follow such practices.
