It’s a packed month for August as the gaming scene once again delivers on multiple fronts. Gamescom dominated the month with a plethora of announcements, including Borderlands 4, Dying Light: The Beast, Sid Meier's Civilization VII, and many other titles. We highlight some of them, as well as cover other news that popped up throughout the month, including Balatro selling 2 million copies, and Sea of Thieves, a Microsoft game, hitting 1 million sales on PS5. August also saw the release of Black Myth: Wukong, the highly anticipated action game from Game Science.
