Recently, World Lacrosse made a tough decision to postpone its two World Championships initially scheduled to happen in 2021, but will instead stage the two major championships in 2022. This has put lacrosse associations across the globe in limbo, deciding on the next optimum move for their teams. This week’s episode, we check in with Putra Isyraq, the president of Malaysia Lacrosse Association (MLA) to understand how the association is adjusting to the new normal in regards to athlete's health and safety. Also, shedding light on the new game rules set by the World Lacrosse Association (WLA), what it means for the future of lacrosse as a sport and plans for MLA moving forward through this pandemic.
