When Awful Meant Awesome

This week on A Bit of Culture, Kam Raslan is joined by our estemeed culture aficionados Rahmah Pauzi and Na'a Murad; to discuss three topics ranging from ancestry, language and visual arts. In the midst of his research on heritage, Kam is confronted by his own family history and wonders about his connection to his own ancestry. Na'a then deeper into literary history to highlight the changing of contexts and meaning to a few words. And finally, Rahmah shares her thoughts on the role of cinema through the ages - when theatres were used as venues for other visual attractions such as magic shows and various other spectacles.
