A Bit of Culture welcomes yet another first time guest on the programme - author of the Inspector Singh series of books, Shamini Flint. BFM's Umapagan kicks off by delving into a new social media trend, where young readers use Instagram to review and recommend their favorite books. Still on books, one genre that does effectively garner attention are murder mysteries, but what is actually so appealing about them? The last of our book related topics is an exploration into how Malaysian fiction normalizes fealty to its leaders, and the trio examine it's underlying impact to the people of today.
