The implementation of Malaysia’s Vehicle Entry Permit policy requirements for Singapore cars kicks in from Oct 1st, despite the process of applying for and obtaining a VEP tag facing criticisms of inefficiency. Dr James Gomez, Director of Asia Centre, shares his thoughts on how this system to keep track of vehicles entering Malaysia could have been rolled out better.
