The Employees Provident Fund (EPF) has launched the latest 2024/2025 Belajawanku report, which is aimed at aiding Malaysians with a comprehensive monthly expenditure guide. In conjunction, the RIA framework was also introduced which raised the basic savings to RM390,000 at 60 from Rm240,000 at 55. We ask Dr Geoffrey Williams, Economist what he makes of these new initiatives and is Malaysia facing a pension crisis?
