BNPL's Regulation Overdue

The Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) industry has seen massive growth with transactions doubling in just the past year, going from around 17 million in Q1 of 2023 to more than 31 million during the same period this year. With one in ten Malaysians using this service, how and should this industry be regulated so that there is a balance between consumer protection and financial innovation.
