Today June 14 is World Blood Donor Day and the theme this year is “Give blood, give plasma, share life, share often”. We speak with Dr. Thane Moze Darumalinggam, Transfusion Medicine Specialist in National Blood Centre to understand the needs of the country, the guidelines for donation, and also debunk some misconceptions, with the hope to encourage more people to give their blood.
