The implementation mechanism and date of targeted diesel subsidy is to be announced soon to make prices in Peninsula Malaysia closer to market levels versus the current subsidised price of RM2.15 per litre. We ask Firdaos Rosli, Chief Economist of Ambank Group what impact this will have on inflation, the Ringgit and even the bond market.
