As property prices continue to rise, pushing many toward rentals, the Ministry of Housing and Local Government has proposed establishing a Residential Tenancy Act (RTA) to regulate tenancies. While Malaysia currently lacks specific legislation governing rentals, the RTA has received mixed feedback. For some guidance, producer Natalie Tan will be speaking with Tan Kian Aun, President of the Malaysian Institute of Estate Agents.
