Kulim, Kedah is the site of what will eventually become the world’s largest 200mm silicon carbide wafer fabrication owned by Infineon Technologies, the German semiconductor manufacturer. Why have they placed their bets on Kulim and Malaysia for their regional expansion, and how might the sector benefit from their presence?
