Early Days for Regulated Crypto Trading

Luno is the first to operate a cryptocurrency exchange under the new Digital Asset Exchange regime set up by the Securities Commission.

While the regulation of cryptocurrency goes against its original spirit of decentralisation, Marcus Swanepeol, CEO & Co-Founder of Luno, believes that this is essential for investor protection. There is also much future growth potential since people will begin to hold more bitcoin and ethereum in their portfolios.
