Raise Pay To Raise Productivity

Due to the pandemic and ensuing economic downturn, salaries stagnated and fresh graduates struggled to get employed. To assure fresh graduates, Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department, Datuk Seri Mustapa Mohamad says that they can expect a higher starting salary by the middle of this year. Dr Juita Mohamad, Fellow at Institute of Strategic and International Studies (ISIS) Malaysia discusses options and what must be done to address underlying problems.
