This week, caretaker Finance Minister Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Abdul Aziz announced plans to phase in e-invoicing for tax collection beginning next year as part of efforts to improve efficiency of the tax system. What are the speedbumps and challenges that need to be addressed for an effective transition to e-invoicing? Tax expert Dr Veerinderjeet Singh weighs in.
