Freedom Of Information VS Official Secrets Act

Putrajaya has agreed in principle to enact a Freedom of Information Act that will set out clear parameters and guidelines to grant members of the public access to obtain information from the government and other public agencies or companies. Dr Benjamin Loh, Senior Lecturer, School of Media and Communication, Taylor's University, shares his thoughts on how this might progress.
