The Gambia on behalf of the Organisation for the Islamic Conference has brought a case against Myanmar in the International Court of Justice, on allegations of genocide against the Rohingya community. To find out more about the peculiarities of the case and the kind of defence Myanmar has mounted, we speak to Aaron Connelly, Research Fellow at the International Institute for Strategic Studies in Singapore.
