The State of Child Labour Today

Three years ago, the International Labour Organization proposed to eliminate the worst forms of child labour by this year. However despite a decline in the numbers of children in the workforce, child labour continues to exist in all stages of the supply chain, across various sectors.

In conjunction with World Day Against Child Labour, we explore the state of child labour today in the Asia Pacific Region, and the risks of exploitation of stateless children. We also delve into this year’s theme, which is child labour in the global supply chains.

This report is by Wan Irdina.
