A spate of failed emergency calls, from silent calls to ambulances sent to wrong locations, has forced the Ministry of Health to revert to its previous system. Telekom Malaysia blames a surge in prank calls, but questions remain over accountability and system design. Azrul Mohd Khalib, CEO of the Galen Centre for Health & Social Policy, joins us to unpack what broke down and what we need to strengthen our national emergency network.

• Australia's under-16 social media ban begins: Australia is enforcing its world-first ban on social media accounts for users under 16, with Meta now notifying minors that their profiles will be shut down. We discuss the possible ups and downs of the ban.
