Top 5 at 5: Spotlight on Prabowo's State Visit

Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto visited Malaysia, marking over 100 days in office with an 81% approval rating. Julia Lau, Senior Fellow at ISEAS-Yusof Ishak Institute, breaks down his early success and what it means for Indonesia-Malaysia ties.

• Farmers protest in Putrajaya over rising costs & Seed Bill: Over 200 farmers protested outside the Agriculture Ministry, demanding action on rising costs and opposing the Plant Seed Quality Bill. Nur Fitri Amir Muhammad, Secretary of Pesawah, explains why the bill could burden small farmers and create monopolies.

• Anti-graft rally goes ahead, but at what cost?: The "Himpunan Rakyat Benci Rasuah" rally saw over 200 protestors march peacefully in KL, yet it dented the government's reformist reputation. We hear from Brendon Gan of the rally’s secretariat and Bangi MP Syahredzan Johan on the political fallout.

• 80 GISBH Children still not reunited with mamilies: Months after child abuse raids at GISBH foster homes, 80 children remain separated from their parents, with six placed in state care for three years. Sharmila Sekaran, Chairperson of Voice of the Children, discusses the impact of these delays.

• Elon joins German rally with calls to forget Nazi past: Just after the Tesla CEO's viral Nazi salute at Trump's inauguration, Elon makes headlines again at a rally for Germany's far-right Alternative for Deutschland party, where he told the crowd that children shouldn't bear the brunt of their grandparent's sins. We ask political analyst Julia Roknifard for her take on the endgame of Elon's far-right sympathy.
