Top 5 at 5: Selangor Government Smarting from Parking Controversy

In early July, the Selangor state government unveiled the Smart Intelligent Parking (SIP) initiative, aimed at improving parking fee collections across four local councils via a private-public partnership. But it's not been received well by everybody. We speak to YB Rajiv Rishyakaran who’s the ADUN for Bukit Gasing from DAP about this issue.

• Black Thorn durian gets royal reward: The "father" of the Black Thorn durian, Leow Cheok Kiang, has received the Darjah Setia Pangkuan Negeri award. This recognition, bestowed by the Penang state government, acknowledges Leow's significant contribution to agriculture through the cultivation and popularization of the Black Thorn durian. We dive into the Black Thorn's history, and its prestige as the rival of Musang King.
