The smuggler had been hired by two Indian nationals based in Malaysia. We revisit an earlier conversation we had with Kanitha Krishnasamy director of the NGO, TRAFFIC Southeast Asia.
Sarawak's bid for control over O&G resources: In recent developments, Satok assemblyperson Dato’ Ibrahim Baki was appointed as Sarawak utility and telecommunication deputy minister, tasked with overseeing Sarawak Energy Berhad and Petros. This move is seen as strategic in the ongoing negotiations. We speak to Amalina Anuar, Senior Director of FMT Business to understand the situation and where Sarawak stands at the moment.
PAS' electoral strategy: Islamic party’s state chief Datuk Abdul Halim Tamuri has said that he wants his supporters who live in Selangor but vote in other states to change their addresses and become local voters.
