Every ten minutes, somewhere in the world, a woman or girl loses her life to violence at the hands of someone she knows. The UN’s latest figures remind us that home can still be an unsafe place for far too many. In commemoration with the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, we look at what this means here in Malaysia, and what more needs to be done to keep women safe, with WAO's Executive Director, Nazreen Nizam.
