Every festive season, we witness the 'balik kampung' rush, as urbanites return to their hometowns to celebrate with loved ones. But with urbanisation on the rise, does kampung life still hold the same charm? Beyond family ties, what keeps people connected to their hometowns—nostalgia, culture, community, or something else? So we pose the question to you: what’s your favourite thing about your hometown? And has your relationship to your hometown/kampung changed over the years?
