Does Malaysia Have A Problem With Discrimination?

The 2023 Malaysian Discrimination Situation Survey by the Architects of Diversity Malaysia revealed that about 64% of Malaysians have experienced discrimination in the past year. Among other findings, respondents experienced the most discrimination on social media (32%), when looking for a job (30%), and at work (29%). We discuss whether Malaysia has a serious problem with discrimination, and ask our listeners whether they've ever felt shut out or lost opportunities because of race, religion or gender.
