Dewan Negara President Tan Sri Rais Yatim has recently proposed for a political academy to be created in order to provide official training to elected representatives. First, we hear from MP Syed Saddiq on his experience with learning on the job. We then speak with political scientist, Wong Chin Huat, about whether this will help MPs develop better policymaking skills for more effective governance.
