Remembering The Malayan Emergency

The Malayan Emergency spanned 12 years, starting in 1948 and declared over in 1960. This incident is a significant one in our history books, but as is the case with any historical event, it can't be captured in a simple narrative. We speak with historian Professor Emeritus Tan Sri Dr Khoo Kay Kim about life at that time, as well as William Cruwys, an Australian veteran soldier who was part of the 28th Commonwealth Infantry Brigade Group that fought in the emergency.
