‘Don Quixote’ by Miguel Cervantes

In the last episode of 50 books in 50 weeks, our literary critic runs with Don Quixote to fight 21st century windmills in a country where library books are stacked enough to earn a spot in the Guinness Book of Records. Miguel de Cervantes’ novel The Ingenious Gentleman Don Quixote of La Mancha comes to us from the 17th century, and this novel is often celebrated together with England’s Shakespeare when the world acknowledges World Book Day in April, the month of the Bard’s birth and death.
