AI at Work: A Game-Changer?

In this episode, we discuss the growing role of artificial intelligence in the workplace, a topic that’s becoming more relevant today than ever before. Research firms have predicted that by 2027, 60% of Asia/Pacific-based organisations will augment operational roles with automation technology to elevate employee engagement and raise worker efficiency by 50 per cent.

In line with that, according to the Freshworks 2024 Global AI Workplace Report, 72% of workers find AI to be valuable in their roles and 75% of IT workers were identified as knowledgeable or an expert in using these advanced algorithms.

We are joined by Simon Ma, Managing Director of Asia at Freshworks, a cloud-based software-as-a-service company as we talk about the factors that are driving enthusiasm towards AI, and how organisations have leveraged this technology thus far to enhance workflow efficiency. We also discuss the expertise of IT professionals in AI, the challenges employees are facing in adopting these tools, and the implications of these advanced algorithms for the future of work.

On top of that, we also cover how organisations can foster a culture of trust while maximising the opportunities presented by these advanced algorithms.
