MSP320. Weird Science: The Wilderness Of Space

Richard Bradbury and Matt Armitage are shooting off to the stars to meet their new friend Mackenzie, aka exoplanet K2-18b. Does alien life exist somewhere within Mackenzie’s deep dark eyes – erm - oceans? Or is it hopeful hyperbole in an increasingly hopeless world?

They also take a tour of Revivification, a musical exhibition that blurs the lines between automation and creativity, which uses laboratory grown stem cells of deceased composer Alvin Lucier to create an ever-morphing soundtrack. And they round it off with a tirade from Richard concerning the ills and evils of the young.
