Digitalising Your Business

In the previous budget, the government announced that they will give out grants to incentivise businesses to automate and digitalise their business. Things like the first 100,000 SMEs would receive matching grant of up to RM5,000 a company for the subscription of digital services for business operations. Then there’s the Malaysians@Work programme, where there’s a need for systems in place to help 98.5% of the SMEs in Malaysia to assist with their transition to comply with the law once it comes in place. However, a key challenge in this Malaysian technology market with SMEs is the lack of adoption of automation and digitalisation in core HR processes. We speak to Tho Kit Hoong, co-founder of Swingvy on their mission to digitalise SMEs in Malaysia.
