ReMeal - Save Food, Save Money, Reduce Waste

Today on the show, we’re joined by Wan Emir Astar and Falah Hamidi, Co-Founders at ReMeal, a platform aiming to help cafes and restaurants sell their surplus food at discounted prices. ReMeal's journey began in 2023, with the launch of their app on the App Store and Google Play Store by mid-2024 and today, they have expanded to 16 active stores and over 40 vendors in the onboarding process with some notable ones including Celsius Coffee and Gula Cakery. We speak with two out of the four co-founders to discuss the mission and vision of ReMeal to successfully tackle the issue of food waste, the challenges they’re facing to achieve this and their ambitions to further develop ReMeal going forward.
