According to EY’s Asia-Pacific: Digital Nations 2016 Malaysia survey, Malaysian digital consumers are rapidly embracing the digital economy. The survey report titled, Decoding the Malaysian digital DNA: from smart to savvy, finds this transition from a digitally smart to a digitally savvy consumer base is transforming consumption behaviors, business processes and modes of people engagement. However, there are perceived gaps in the country’s digital maturity, experience and affordability. We speak to Jonathan Rees and Chow Sang Hoe of EY to talk us through the report.
