Is Malaysia's Gaming Industry Getting Recognition?

Recently, a Malaysian game development company was acquired by a Swedish studio called The Gang.

Founded in 2008, Common Extract is best known for developing the popular Ejen Ali games, particularly Ejen Ali: Agents' Arena, which is one of Malaysia's first multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) games. The Gang, on the other hand, was established in 2019 and has been building games in the metaverse for renowned brands like Gucci and McLaren.

Today in EBB, we’ll be focusing on Malaysia's gaming industry and how it's gaining recognition on the global stage. Joining us is Rob Lee, founder of Common Extract to share his insights on the acquisition and the industry.
